Direct answer
At launch, EA lists a GTX 1080, RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc B580 with 16 GB RAM for 1080p/30 on Low. The recommended 1440p/60 High target calls for RTX 3080 or RX 7800 XT and 32 GB RAM. EA says Steam Deck is not verified at launch.
Do these in order
- 01
Compare CPU, RAM, GPU, OS, and storage — not only the graphics card.
- 02
Treat the minimum tier as a 1080p/30 Low target.
- 03
Treat the recommended tier as a 1440p/60 High target using TSR, DLSS, or FSR.
- 04
Plan for 50 GB available storage and a 64-bit Windows 10/11 system.
- 05
Do not buy specifically for Steam Deck support while EA lists it as unsupported at launch.
Minimum — 1080p, 30 FPS, Low
EA lists Windows 10/11 64-bit, Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1080 / RX 5600 XT / Intel Arc B580, and 50 GB storage.
Recommended — 1440p, 60 FPS, High
EA lists Windows 10/11 64-bit, Intel Core i7-10700K or Ryzen 7 3700X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 or RX 7800 XT, and 50 GB storage. The FAQ recommends TSR or vendor upscalers to reach the stated target.
CPU-bound performance note
EA says development testing found the game to be more CPU-bound, so individual graphics settings may not produce the same frame-rate changes seen in other genres. Hardware above the GPU minimum does not guarantee a specific frame rate in every scene.
Steam Deck and controllers
EA says the game will not be Steam Deck verified at launch. On PC, Xbox Series and PS5 controllers are mostly supported, but some text entry requires a keyboard.
